away at my first year of college at UCSC I was miserable 90%
of the time, so when Mother's Day rolled around and I asked
her what she wanted, she said, "Do something that makes
you happy," and I painted this. This led me to reconsider
my goals and I applied to art school, not because I thought
I was good, but because it made me happy. The rest is history. |
