| After
beginning to write down the story of Ilouay, I used my new
found art skills to translate the opening scene of the novel
into ceramic. I was overwhelmed with the ability to not only
verbalize the ideas in my head with writing, but for the first
time make then truly visual, true to my vision with no room
for interpretation. It may sound like a simple thing, but
to me it was extraordinary. |
