One of the great
loves of my life has been Ancient Egyptian mythology. This
sculpture of the Egyptian cat goddess of the home, Bastet,
was modeled after a pendant I had that was about 2"
tall. The
necklace she wears is the Eye of Ra, a symbol of protection.
